Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Cost Controller in New Jersey to monitor budgets, perform cost analyses, and support project controls. You will review contracts and payment applications, develop estimates, and present cashflows to stakeholders.

The role requires a degree in accounting and strong analytical skills, with comfort in a team environment and construction-related focus. Experience with MS Word, PowerPoint, and databases is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
• 0+ Years of experience in some combination of cost control or financial data analysis required.
• Experience with MS Word and PowerPoint preferred.
• Experience with databases and reporting preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Interest in construction, engineering, and project controls.
• An equivalent combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered in lieu of stated minimum qualifications.
