Job description

CelLink is growing rapidly, and we’re looking for a Cost Analyst to help us understand what it really costs to build our products and where we can build smarter, more efficiently, and more profitably.

This is a hands-on manufacturing finance role. You’ll work across the ERP, costing systems, general ledger, and manufacturing floor to ensure product and inventory costs are accurate, investigate manufacturing variances, support month-end close, and turn data into actionable insights.

You’ll partner closely with Operations, Production, Procurement, Quality, and Engineering, giving you direct visibility into how materials, labor, yield, scrap, and manufacturing processes impact our financial performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Own and support manufacturing cost accounting, including materials, labor, overhead, inventory, and product costing.
  • Maintain accurate BOMs, routings, and standard costs in partnership with Operations and Engineering.
  • Analyze manufacturing variances, including material usage, purchase price, labor efficiency, yield, scrap, and overhead, and identify the drivers behind them.
  • Track and improve yield, scrap, WIP, and inventory accuracy through reconciliations, audits, and cycle counts.
  • Support month-end close, budgeting, and forecasting, providing manufacturing cost assumptions, reports, and analysis.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and implement cost-reduction and efficiency opportunities across materials, labor, and overhead.
  • Provide financial insight into manufacturing performance and translate complex data into clear, actionable information for non-financial stakeholders.
  • Support GAAP, internal controls, audits, ad hoc analysis, and special projects related to cost and inventory management.
  • Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned.
Education & Experience (Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of cost accounting, financial analysis, or operational finance experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of inventory accounting, standard costing, manufacturing variances, and GAAP.
  • Experience working with BOMs, routings, WIP, labor, material usage, yield, scrap, and manufacturing overhead.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems supporting manufacturing, inventory, and product costing.
  • Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical/problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to move comfortably between financial data and what’s happening on the manufacturing floor.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both finance and technical teams.
  • A high level of detail, ownership, and curiosity: you don’t just report the numbers; you want to understand why they look the way they do.
