Job summary

The role focuses on standard costs, labor and overhead rates, inventory accounting, margin analysis, and cost improvement initiatives to support strategic decisions and improve operational performance across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive cost accounting experience in manufacturing or related disciplines.
• Experience leading or supervising accounting teams preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, inventory accounting, standard costing, and financial analysis.
• POC accounting experience preferred.
• Experience in a project-based manufacturing or engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Cost Accounting team with clear priorities.
• Drive continuous improvement in processes and efficiency.
• Establish standard costs, labor and overhead rates, and costing methods.
• Oversee inventory accounting, cycle counts, valuation and rate calculations.
• Perform margin analyses, project reviews, and pricing support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial analyses and special projects.
