Job summary

RemX | The Workforce Experts is seeking a Site Cost Accounting Manager for our South Houston manufacturing facility. This hands-on role will lead plant accounting and cost accounting operations, partnering with plant leadership to drive cost visibility and financial performance.

You will oversee month-end close, inventory costing, standard costing, variance analysis, budgeting, and forecasting, while ensuring internal controls and compliance with accounting policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• 5+ years of accounting experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong cost accounting and inventory accounting experience.
• Experience with month-end close and financial statement preparation.
• Knowledge of standard costing, variance analysis, and manufacturing KPIs.
• ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, Epicor, JD Edwards, NetSuite, etc.).
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
