Job summary

Fuyao in Moraine, OH is seeking an Assistant Cost Account Manager in the Finance Department to oversee cost accounting, production data analysis and cost control across the plant.

You will lead the cost accounting team, organize daily to monthly reporting, and monitor budgets to identify variances and cost-saving opportunities. Proficiency with Oracle/PLEX and ERP systems is preferred; a minimum of 2 years in accounting and a bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting are required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in accounting.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Ability to read, understand and comprehend documents such as safety rules and operating instructions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train the cost accounting staff, approving attendance and coordinating daily workload.
• Organize and lead the preparation of daily, weekly and monthly production and cost analysis reports.
• Organize and review budgets and track performance against budget to identify variances and cost-saving opportunities.
• Review cost control and manufacturing expense activity for compliance and proper cost allocation.
• Review statistical statements for accuracy and alignment with accounting records.
• Oversee product cost accounting and prepare cost statements for product lines.
• Prepare production quotas and supervise quota implementation.
• Administer inventory check system and investigate discrepancies with accountability.
• Monitor work-in-process inventory and coordinate initiatives to reduce month-end levels.
• Review and update statistical policies and production incentive policies.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
