Job summary

Cryoport Systems is seeking a Cost Accounting Manager in Irvine, CA to oversee day-to-day cost accounting and drive monthly, quarterly, and annual closes. You will manage capital expenditure tracking, fixed assets entries, and inventory reconciliations while partnering with FP&A and operations to improve cost decisions.

The role requires 5–7 years of costing experience, strong analytical skills, and expertise in Excel; SQL knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5–7 years costing and general accounting experience.
• Clear written and verbal communication abilities.
• Willingness to spend time in operations/production areas.

Responsibilities

• Manage capital expenditure tracking and monthly fixed assets entries.
• Analyze cost accounting data and support annual physical inventory.
• Prepare journals during month-end, quarter-end and year-end closes.
• Support planning and forecasting of cost of sales, inventory and capex.
• Lead internal, SOX, and external audits with cross-functional teams.
