Job summary

Austin Regional Clinic is seeking a Cost Accounting Manager to oversee accounts payable, intercompany, and allocated cost transactions. You will lead a team to ensure accurate entries under GAAP and facilitate timely monthly closings across payables, purchasing, and inventory modules in the ERP.

The role requires strong Excel/Access skills, a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or related field, and 3+ years in a supervisory capacity.

Qualifications

• Three (3) or more years of supervisory or management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field; five (5)+ years in procure-to-pay, GAAP, intercompany, and related accounting.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and multi-specialty physician practice is a plus.
• Strong Excel/Access skills; solid understanding of GAAP and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts payable, intercompany, and allocated cost transactions in GAAP.
• Lead a team of AP professionals and ensure timely processing and accuracy.
• Coordinate monthly close for payables, purchasing, and inventory modules in ERP.
• Develop controls, procedures, and continuous process improvements.
• Collaborate with Tax and Audit; manage vendor setup and intercompany funding reconciliations.
