KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting is assisting a growing manufacturing company in North Billerica, MA to hire a Cost Accounting Manager. This hands-on role offers ownership of the cost accounting function and collaboration with finance and operations leadership.

Formación

• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Solid standard costing, inventory and variance analysis experience.
• Experience working directly with manufacturing and operational teams.
• Strong ERP and Excel skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Manage standard costing and product cost maintenance
• Perform cost roll-ups and analyze manufacturing variances
• Oversee inventory accounting and valuation
• Analyze margins and key manufacturing cost drivers
• Support inventory and COGS activity during month-end close
• Prepare account reconciliations and operational financial reporting
• Partner with Operations and Supply Chain on cost and inventory matters
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
• Assist with audit requirements and internal controls
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and reporting

Cost Accounting Manager – Billerica, MA

KBW Financial Staffing and Recruiting is working with a growing manufacturing company in North Billerica, MA seeking a Cost Accounting Manager. This is a highly visible position with significant ownership of the cost accounting function and regular interaction with both finance and operational leadership.

The position is well suited for someone who enjoys remaining hands-on while also helping improve processes and reporting as an organization grows. There is also opportunity for increased responsibility over time.

Responsibilities

• Manage standard costing and product cost maintenance
• Perform cost roll-ups and analyze manufacturing variances
• Oversee inventory accounting and valuation
• Analyze margins and key manufacturing cost drivers

Compensation: $135K–$150K plus 10% bonus and excellent benefits. Position is based in Billerica and requires 3-4 days per week onsite.
