Job summary

ManpowerGroup client seeks a Cost Accounting Manager to join their finance team in Tipton, PA. You will maintain and improve cost accounting systems, analyze manufacturing costs, and support month-end close and reporting.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, at least five years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing, ERP/MRP experience (Syteline preferred), strong Excel/Office skills, and solid US GAAP knowledge; CPA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in manufacturing cost accounting, inventory accounting, or related areas.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems, preferably Syteline.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing cost accounting, inventory accounting, and U.S. GAAP; CPA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the company's cost accounting system to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Analyze manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labor, overhead, scrap, and landed costs.
• Establish and monitor cost standards, investigate variances, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare and present cost reports, financial statements, and support month-end closing processes.
• Develop financial models and conduct cost analyses to support decision-making and operational improvements.

As a Cost Accounting Manager, you will be part of the Finance department supporting cross-functional teams. Pay Range: $85,000 - $95,000

Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30m
