Job summary

Mobis Alabama LLC is seeking a Cost Accounting Assistant Manager to oversee SAP CO data, monitor manufacturing costs, and deliver analysis for budgeting, cost allocation, and month-end close.

You will support cost and profitability analysis, coordinate audits, and work with finance and operations to drive cost reduction and accuracy. A Bachelor's in accounting and 4+ years in cost/manufacturing accounting are required; automotive experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Knowledge of applicable bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, and standards.
• Advanced computer skills: MS Office, accounting software, and databases.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate cost, expense, and operational data to support budgeting, forecasting, and planning cycles.
• Maintain SAP CO cost information and monitor manufacturing and departmental costs for accurate cost allocation, expense control, and escalation.
