Job summary

Toyota North America’s Vehicle Contribution Margin Inventory Management Department seeks a passionate Analyst – Cost Accounting to lead inventory management, material costing, BOM creation, and SOX compliance at TMMTX.

Reporting to the Manager of Cost Accounting, you will support monthly close, prepare BOMs, analyze variances, and drive cost reduction, with opportunities for growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent analytical degree.
• Manufacturing Cost Accounting experience with cost and usage variance analysis.
• Experience supporting monthly close processes.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for large data sets.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and cross‑functional deliverables.
• Experience presenting findings to management, including executives.

Responsibilities

• Lead inventory activities, monthly cycle counts, and outlier investigations.
• Lead direct raw material analysis and reporting for multiple shops.
• Prepare and present BOMs, supporting DRM cost change summaries and SOX controls.
• Support month-end closing with material movements and journal entries.
• Coordinate General Stores audits and physical inventories.
• Develop standardized work instructions and Kaizen activities.

Education
