Veolia North America is offering a full-time internship/co-op in a manufacturing setting with an anticipated start date in May 2027. The role centers on reviewing standard costs, identifying margin outliers, and aligning BOM and Routing with production procedures.
You will work closely with finance and manufacturing engineers to develop a go-forward plan, ensuring data integrity and cost accuracy to support competitive pricing and margin improvements in 2026.

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to);
The primary focus will be reviewing current standard costs with a focus on the following:
Standard Cost is the foundation for ensuring a plant is running efficiently and that we are going to market with the most accurate costs to produce finished products. This helps to ensure that we aren't pricing ourselves out of the market, and ensures that we aren't selling finished products below cost. Success in achieving the above mentioned items will result in the potential for top line growth and margin improvements, which are key areas of focus for 2026.
This role is best suited for anyone currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Accounting or Finance degree, with interest in Manufacturing. A great opportunity for anyone who has or is looking toward becoming a Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Cost Accountant, Cost Analyst, or Plant Financial Controller. Consideration will also be given to other science-based technical programs and degrees.
