Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Supply Chain Performance Analytics Lead for Minnetonka, MN to enable data-driven operational decisions by delivering standardized analytics and dashboards across manufacturing and the supply chain.

You will define critical metrics, build daily Operations Cockpits, and collaborate with Planning, Engineering, Digital, and Operations to translate business questions into actionable insights that improve capacity, throughput, yield, and on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelors of Science in Engineering, Data Science, Information Management or similar.
• 3+ years of experience in operations/manufacturing data support roles.
• Data manipulation and visualization skills using Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
• Expertise in ERP systems (preferably SAP, Kinaxis Maestro, and/or Planet Together) and advanced computer skills, including Google Sheets, Docs, Slides or Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, with the ability to analyze large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Analyze transactional, demand, and production data across ERP and operational systems to surface inefficiencies and root causes behind order flow and on-time delivery.
• Build a deep understanding of data architectures across cloud databases, MES, and ERP applications.

Job Description

Veolia is currently searching for a highly motivated Supply Chain Performance Analytics Lead to support our Minnetonka, MN location. The Supply Chain Performance Analytics Lead is accountable for enabling data driven operational decision making by delivering standardized, scalable analytics that provide clear visibility to manufacturing and supply chain performance in Minnetonka. This role defines and owns critical performance metrics, dashboards, and analytic views that drive operational excellence across our Minnetonka facility.

You will establish standardized measurement frameworks spanning capacity utilization, throughput optimization, inventory management, cycle time reduction, yield improvement, and on-time service delivery. Your analytics will ensure alignment across our operations to master data standards and execution processes, enabling data-driven decision-making that supports Veolia's commitment to environmental and operational excellence.

• Build a deep understanding of data architectures across various corporate platforms, focusing on cloud databases, MES, and ERP applications.
• Identify and merge novel datasets to support predictive analytics, process monitoring, and the Operations Cockpits.
• Design and deploy predictive data dashboards that synthesize raw material, manufacturing, and final product metrics to guide business choices and resolve technical issues.
• Automation & Scalability: Create scalable, automated reporting workflows and pipelines to minimize manual tasks and improve resilience against supply and demand shifts.
• Work hand-in-hand with Planning, Engineering, Digital, and Operations to convert operational inquiries into concrete, analytical insights.
• Cooperate with regional and international partners to design and develop Daily Operations Cockpits—tailored dashboards providing consistent, automated operational data for essential business roles.
• Foster global organizational partnerships to facilitate strong teamwork and leadership, with a focus on connecting with international colleagues in data visualization.
• Coordinate department goals with other team members while using clear organizational communication to achieve key targets.
• Mentorship & Collaboration: Guide and mentor others to foster analytical literacy and expertise throughout the plant.
• Supply Chain & Manufacturing Analysis: Evaluate intricate data from MRP/ERP systems, production timelines, and demand forecasts to identify bottlenecks and their underlying causes. Promote continuous optimization in order management, safety stocks, material readiness, and production scheduling.
• MRP System Integration: Collaborate with operational and planning segments to synchronize data models with MRP logic. Provide support in optimizing BOM definitions, lot sizes, and lead-time estimates for enhanced planning precision.
• Project Leadership: Direct and oversee significant analytics projects, guaranteeing on-time execution aligned with corporate targets.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelors of Science in Engineering, Data Science, Information Management or similar
• 3+ years of experience in operations/manufacturing data support roles (educationally, intern ect)
• Data manipulation and visualization skills using Power BI, Tableau, or similar
• Expertise in ERP systems (preferably SAP, Kinaxis Maestro, and/or Planet Together) and advanced computer skills, including Google Sheets, Docs, Slides or Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, with the ability to analyze large datasets.

Preferred:

• Understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and its application in manufacturing a plus
• Desire to collaborate with varied cross functional stakeholders at all levels
• Tenacity to drive projects to completion translating broad requirements into specific functionality or visuals to meet business needs
• Ability to maintain positive/collaborative working relationships with cross functional stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• Ability to present technical data to all levels of the organization
• Experience with predictive modeling, regression analysis, and correlation techniques
• Strong business acumen and understanding of how supply chain data impacts cost, service, and capacity
• Strong understanding of financial and operational metrics and how they influence business performance

Your success will be measured by:

• Core execution metrics (capacity, throughput, Inventory, cycle time, yield, and on-time shipment) are clearly defined, documented, and consistently applied across supported sites.
• Dashboards provide accurate, timely, and trusted visibility into manufacturing performance at shop floor, site, and network levels, aligned to standardized master data and execution processes.
• Operations, Engineering, Planning, and other stakeholders actively use analytics outputs to support daily tactical decision-making, as well as strategic long range planning.
• Visual management tools, including Daily Operations Tier Boards, are embedded in routine operational reviews and enable proactive performance management.
• Dashboards and data structures are designed for global scalability and effective translation to additional sites and business units.
• New and existing data sets are integrated into the Google Cloud Platform data lake to support analytics, process controls, and predictive analysis applications
• Predictive analytics combine raw material, process, and finished goods data to inform business decisions and address technical challenges.
• Analytics outputs support problem identification, root cause analysis, and operational performance improvement initiatives.
• Strong working relationships are established across Operations, Engineering, Planning, Digital, and global stakeholders to translate business questions into actionable analytics.
• Technical data and insights are communicated effectively at all organizational levels to drive alignment and informed decision-making

Compensation:

The compensation range is tied to the market for similarly bench-marked roles. The range is not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity. Depending upon all the preceding considerations for the final selected individual candidate, the offer may be lower or higher than the stated range: $90,000- $100,000.
