Job summary

Prinova USA is seeking an Associate Cost Accountant to provide financial support for the manufacturing business, focusing on the Nutrition unit. You will own Production Work Orders from standard rates to data collection, reporting, and updates to standards.

Work closely with Operations Leadership, Finance, and CI to improve profitability. Domestic travel is possible for training and site visits. This role reports to the Cost Accounting Manager.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance plus 2-3 years of related experience.
• Cost accounting experience preferred.
• Proficient in Excel and report-generating software; JD Edwards or ERP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Production Work Order analysis from data collection to reporting.
• Analyze and compare Production Work Orders Actual vs. Standard.
• Report on Work Order results and variances at completion; approve for closing.
• Partner with Operations to collect production data for each Work Order.
• Validate routings with actual data and report discrepancies.
• Develop and maintain cost-related trend reports by work center group and product categories.
• Reconcile the WIP account.
