Envases Commerce, LLC in Waco, TX is seeking a Cost Accountant to manage cost analysis for high-volume aluminum can ends production, including materials, labor, and overhead. You will own standard cost systems, analyze variances, support budgeting, and ensure GAAP/IFRS compliance while partnering with operations and finance to drive profitability.

The role requires strong Excel and SAP skills, a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance, and 3+ years in manufacturing cost accounting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or 4+ years in manufacturing leadership with relevant cost accounting exposure.
• Strong GAAP knowledge related to cost accounting and inventory valuation.
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and formulas) and SAP experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Develop, maintain, and analyze the standard cost system for finished goods (can ends) and WIP inventory.
• Conduct deep analysis of production variances including material usage (aluminum scrap), labor efficiency, and overhead absorption.
• Lead cost-related activities for the monthly close, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and COGS reporting.
• Prepare product line profitability reports, customer contribution margins, and gross profit analyses.
• Audit BOMs, routings, and material master records to ensure ERP data integrity.
