Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting related field or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of Cost Accounting experience
• Understanding of accounting principles
• Analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Track and monitor raw materials and consumables inventory
• Identify excess/obsolete inventory with Supply Chain and Operations
• Analyze job close variances and provide root cause analysis
• Assist in month end close for inventory and cost of sales
• Prepare journal entries and reconciliations for inventory, WIP, variances, ROC
• Maintain internal controls and secure financial data
• Perform ad hoc analyses and projects as needed
• Prepare reports for financial audits and management
• Maintain ERP data and improve accounting processes
• Develop process controls and documentation
• Maintain organized accounting records
• Coordinate cross-functional requirements and continuous improvement initiatives
