Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to perform cost and inventory accounting, including monthly closings and standard costs. You will manage physical inventory, cycle counts, and obsolescence reviews, while supporting audits and quarterly/yearly close processes.

Responsibilities include reviewing manufacturing jobs, maintaining WIP, and calculating COGS and gross profit. Strong GAAP and manufacturing accounting experience are required.

• Bookkeeping fundamentals and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform cost and inventory accounting including monthly closings and standard costs.
• Manage physical inventory and cycle-count programs; review obsolescence.
• Support audits by bank and financial auditors.
• Conduct weekly audits of finished goods and subassemblies.
• Close all manufacturing jobs after production completes.
• Lead weekly waste meetings and track waste-reduction actions.
• Prepare month-end COGS and gross-profit reports.
