Job summary

Atlantic Group in Willingboro, NJ is seeking a Cost Accountant to join our growing manufacturing team. This newly created role offers autonomy to build the function and drive cost improvements on the shop floor.

You will partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement and Finance to analyze costs, develop standard costing, and report actionable insights. 3+ years cost accounting in manufacturing and a Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance are required, with strong Excel/ERP skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of cost accounting experience in manufacturing.
• Manufacturing/industrial experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong Excel and ERP/system skills.
• Experience with standard costing, inventory, BOMs, variances, and manufacturing costs.
• Analytical, hands-on professional who can work independently.
• Someone who wants to understand what is happening on the manufacturing floor—not just what the numbers say.

Responsibilities

• Own cost accounting processes and build out the role.
• Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Finance.
