Job summary

Varex Imaging Corporation is seeking an experienced accounting professional to maintain and improve our accounting systems, including journal entries, GL, and revenue reconciliation. The role requires ensuring compliance with US GAAP and preparing key financial statements and reports for management and stakeholders.

You will work with SAP or an ERP environment, and leverage Microsoft Office tools to deliver accurate financial data and timely reports.

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Accounting, Finance or Business.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Experience with SAP or an ERP system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and balance Journal Entries, General Ledger, AR, AP and revenue reconciliation.
• Prepare monthly P&L, cash flow, and balance sheet statements.
• Develop monthly revenue and expense reports for projects.
• Assist in revenue recognition and reporting in compliance with US GAAP.

Summary

Develops, implements and/or maintains one or more accounting systems: Journal entries, General Ledger, Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Revenue Reconciliation, etc. Reviews and interprets financial reporting requirements, rules and regulations. Balances books and prepares profit and loss, cash flow, income and balance sheet statements. Monitors and develops monthly reports of revenues and expenditures for projects. Provides record of assets, liabilities and other financial transactions. May prepare federal, state and local reports and tax returns. May assist in the setup of processes and procedures that properly capture, track and report revenue, including deferred revenue, in accordance with the company revenue recognition policy. May generate revenue reports for internal and/or external use. May interpret reports and records for managers/stakeholders. May be involved in reviewing, tracking and maintaining billing information in the financial systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP and other accounting regulations.

Experience Level with Business Tools

• Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.
