Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong background in cost accounting, inventory management, and financial analysis.
• Experience with month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• ERP experience (SAP, Syspro, or similar) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze production, material, labor, and overhead costs to identify savings opportunities.
• Monitor job profitability, investigate cost variances, and report findings to management.
• Oversee inventory valuation, physical counts, aging analysis, and reserve calculations.
• Support month-end close activities, journal entries, and financial reporting.
• Develop and maintain costing processes, systems, and reporting tools.
• Partner with departments on forecasting, budgeting, compliance, and special projects.
• Provide meaningful financial analysis and recommendations that support business objectives.
• Assist with process improvement initiatives that enhance operational and financial performance.
