Job summary

Liveo Research is seeking a Cost Accountant to join our Finance team in Delaware City, DE. The role focuses on analyzing manufacturing costs, producing cost reports, and supporting budgeting and audits.

This position emphasizes data-driven insights, cross-functional collaboration, and opportunities to improve cost reporting and processes within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 1–2 years of accounting experience preferred.
• Strong Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• SAP or other ERP experience is a plus.
• Manufacturing or cost accounting experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Analyze manufacturing costs and budget-to-actual results.
• Prepare production and cost analysis reports.
• Support product costing, pricing, and profitability analysis.
• Help identify cost-saving and process improvement opportunities.
• Support inventory and cycle count activities.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close.
• Support annual budgeting and financial audits.
• Work with the Finance team and other departments to improve cost reporting and processes.
