Qualifications

• 5+ years of accounting experience with 3+ years in cost or manufacturing accounting.
• SAP experience is required and must be proficient in Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Translate complex financial and operational data into clear insights for non-financial stakeholders.
• Analyze COGS, labor, materials, overhead, and inventory movements.
• Ensure accurate valuation of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
• Develop, maintain, and refine standard costs for labor, overhead, and materials.
• Audit SAP controls to ensure data accuracy and compliance.

The Cost Accountant Will Be Responsible for the Following:

• Translate complex financial and operational data into clear, actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders


• Analyze cost of goods sold (COGS), labor, materials, overhead, and inventory movements


• Ensure accurate valuation of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods


• Develop, maintain, and refine standard costs for labor, overhead, and materials


• Audit SAP controls to ensure data accuracy and compliance

The Cost Accountant Should Have the Following Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree


• 5+ years of accounting experience with 3+ years of cost or manufacturing accounting experience


• SAP experience required


• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel


• Strong written and verbal communication skills
