Operations Finance Analyst / Cost Accountant

[Location or Remote/Hybrid] | Full-Time

Are you passionate about digging into the numbers that drive manufacturing operations? We’re looking for an Operations Finance Analyst who can blend cost accounting expertise with strategic FP&A insight — supporting cross-functional teams and delivering key financial guidance to optimize performance.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the cost accounting function, ensuring accurate balance sheet and P&L valuations for assigned business units
• Own month-end responsibilities including journal entries, account reconciliations, and audit support
• Provide financial insights to Operations leadership through variance analysis, performance tracking, and forecasting
• Develop and maintain product costing models and support inventory and COGS analysis for designated regions
• Partner with global operations to guide business decisions and support cost optimization initiatives
• Contribute to the refinement of policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance in financial processes
• Work across departments to deliver timely, actionable financial reporting that supports strategic decision-making

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business
• 3–5 years of experience in Operations Finance, Cost Accounting, FP&A, or similar roles
• Background in CPG or high-volume manufacturing is strongly preferred
• Hands-on experience with SAP and advanced Excel; familiarity with SAP BPC, Business Intelligence tools, or data visualization platforms is a plus
• CMA certification is a bonus
• High attention to detail, a head for numbers, and a proactive mindset
• Ability to work independently and manage a high-volume workload under pressure
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written — you can explain complex financials in plain language
