Staffingine LLC in City Industry, CA seeks a Cost Accountant to maintain and analyze standard costs, job costs, BOMs, labor rates and manufacturing overhead. You will support month-end close, reconciliations, accruals and financial reporting while monitoring margins and inventory metrics.

You will partner with Operations and Engineering to improve costing accuracy and manufacturing efficiency, assist budgeting and forecasting, and develop dashboards to track costs and KPIs for informed

• Maintain and analyze standard costs, job costs, BOMs, labor rates, and manufacturing overhead.
• Investigate cost variances (material, labor, freight, overhead) and recommend improvements.
• Reconcile inventory, WIP, and manufacturing GL accounts.
• Monitor inventory valuation, scrap, obsolete inventory, and cycle-count adjustments.
• Support month-end close including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and financial reporting.
• Analyze gross margins, job profitability, purchase price variances, and manufacturing performance.
• Partner with Operations and Engineering to improve costing accuracy and manufacturing efficiency.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, product costing, and pricing decisions.
• Develop reports and dashboards to track costs, margins, and KPIs.
• Support inventory audits, internal controls, and continuous improvement initiatives.
