Nurtur Aveda Institute Columbus is seeking a full-time Cosmetology Instructor to join our Education department in Columbus, Ohio. The role focuses on delivering engaging instruction, preparing lesson plans, and guiding students on theory and practical clinic experiences while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.

Responsibilities include upholding our values, motivating students, and ensuring compliance with policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Valid state-issued Cosmetology Instructor license and ongoing continuing education hours.
• Minimum of 2 years’ continuous cosmetology experience; training staff preferred.
• Strong leadership, time management, organization, self-direction, initiative, resourcefulness and follow-through.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work at a fast pace and handle multiple tasks and projects.
