You will deliver engaging instruction in cosmetology theory and techniques, covering hair cutting, coloring, skincare, nail care, and chemical services, while evaluating student progress and maintaining records.

Qualifications

• Active California Cosmetology License with at least 3 years of experience in the field.
• Experience in teaching, mentoring, or training is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cosmetology theory and state board regulations.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Professional, patient, and student-focused demeanor.
• Ability to maintain curriculum and meet schedule requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging classroom and hands-on instruction in cosmetology theory and practical techniques.
• Teach students core skills including hair cutting, coloring, skincare, nail care, and chemical services.
• Evaluate and assess student progress through written and practical examinations.
• Maintain accurate student attendance, performance records, and progress reports.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and professional learning environment in compliance with state board standards.
• Mentor and motivate students to prepare for the California State Board licensing exam.
• Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and product knowledge.
