Job summary

Dite is expanding its beauty school in Chicago and is seeking a licensed Cosmetology Instructor for its year-long Cosmetology Program. Candidates should have an Illinois Cosmetology Instructor License and strong teaching, communication, and mentorship skills. The position can be full-time or part-time, with a flexible schedule primarily between 9 AM and 5 PM. Job description

Our well-established beauty school is expanding with a new location in downtown Chicago, offering hands-on cosmetology training and licensing guidance. Our programs equip students with the skills and credentials needed to build successful careers and work legally in the industry. We provide courses in English, Russian, and Ukrainian to support a diverse student body.

As we open our Illinois location, we are seeking a licensed Cosmetology Instructor to lead our year-long Cosmetology Program and refresh short-term courses. Both full-time and part-time positions are available

Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging lessons on cosmetology theory and hands-on techniques
• Provide practical training in beauty treatments, ensuring students meet industry and licensing standards
• Maintain a supportive and professional learning environment
• Assist in selecting and implementing one of Illinois’ state-approved cosmetology curricula
• If available, incorporate personal teaching materials; otherwise, a structured program will be provided

Requirements

• Illinois Cosmetology Instructor License (we cannot consider uncertified instructors at this time)
• Strong teaching, communication, and mentorship skills
• Ability to work full-time (preferred) or part-time (role may be split between two candidates if needed)
• Fluency in Russian or Ukrainian is a plus as we offer programs in 3 languages (not a must-have)
