Job summary

Columbus Technical College seeks a part-time Instructional Aide to support students and instructors in the Cosmetology program, covering hair, skin, and nails. May be required to teach high school students and may travel across service areas (Muscogee, Stewart, Quitman, Chattahoochee, Harris, and Talbot counties).

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, a current Georgia State Board of Cosmetology Master License, basic computer skills, and a strong work ethic with excellent customer

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• In-field Cosmetology experience including hair, skin, and nails; reception procedures.
• Current Georgia State Board of Cosmetology Master License.
• Basic Computer Skills.
• Excellent work ethic and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Assist instructors and students in the Cosmetology program as needed.
• Monitor and maintain supplies and equipment in classroom and labs.
• Demonstrate knowledge of current Cosmetology procedures.
• Maintain clean classrooms and laboratories.
• Ensure safety and security in training areas.
