Job summary

ManpowerGroup Global, Inc. is seeking a Scientific Research Analyst to join our client’s Research and Development team in Clark, NJ.

You will support claims validation, product testing, and technical communication across marketing, legal, and safety functions. You will create testing plans, track progress, and prepare detailed product dossiers, coordinating with labs and evaluation teams to ensure timely results and compliant documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related scientific field.
• 3-5 years in a technical or scientific role, preferably within cosmetics or consumer products.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Background in marketing or familiarity with product claims and regulatory considerations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for makeup projects, including creating testing plans and negotiating claims with marketing and legal teams.
• Track project progress, ensure timely completion of tests, and communicate updates to marketing teams.
• Explain technical information and technologies related to ingredients and testing processes for products and competitive brands.
• Create detailed product technical dossiers to support new product proposals and launches, including formulas, packaging, demos, and claims.
• Collaborate with U.S. Safety, Claims, and Evaluation teams to determine sampling needs and coordinate with labs for timely sample receipt.
