Major Cosmetics Client is seeking a Formulation Scientist in Clark, NJ to complete and adjust cosmetic formulas, develop prototypes, and ensure product specs are met. You will collaborate with R&D teams and manage multiple ongoing projects.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a science field and at least 2 years of cosmetics experience, with a competitive W2 pay rate of $22.00–$25.70 per hour.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a science-related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience, preferably in the cosmetics industry.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Complete formulas, follow up on formula stability, and make adjustments to fix formulas as necessary.
• Create prototype formulas and perform modifications to meet product specifications.
• Provide creative and resourceful solutions to issues that may arise during the product development process.
• Interact with various support groups within R&D.
• Maintain a minimum of 5 basic projects.
