Job summary

Voyant Beauty in Indiana is seeking a Quality Lab Technician for 3rd shift to perform in-process and finished product testing, ensuring products meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements. This role oversees daily activities in the lab and supports quality standards in a compliant environment.

The position involves generating COAs, writing and managing NCMRs, maintaining documentation, and collaborating with Manufacturing, Customer Service, and other departments to address quality

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1-3 years in a manufacturing or laboratory environment is preferred.
• Experience with quality testing methods and cGMP/regulatory environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing on bulk and finished goods (pH, viscosity, odor, color, appearance) to ensure specifications.
• Generate Certificates of Analysis (COA) for bulk products prior to shipment and evaluate samples against specifications.
• Issue Nonconformance Reports (NCMRs) for nonconforming materials or results.
• Maintain lab records, documentation, and compliance with cGMP and company policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support quality and production goals; train team members as needed.
