Job summary

Autumn Harp is a cosmetics-focused research and manufacturing partner located near Burlington, Vermont. The company seeks a Packaging Engineer to manage product packaging from concept through to production at the Essex Junction campus.

You will lead packaging projects, coordinate trials, and ensure drawings, BOMs, and finish product specs meet quality and performance targets in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Packaging Engineering and Mechanical Engineering principles applied to packaging systems and manufacturing processes.
• Experience in R&D: testing, validation, and evaluating new packaging materials and technologies.
• Project Management skills to lead packaging initiatives, coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage timelines, and launch projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage the package development from start to finish for a variety of customers.
• Coordinate trialing and understanding pack solutions that meet business and customer needs.
• Accountable for Bill of Materials, assembly methods and Finished Product specifications.
• Be the packaging representative in front-end development to ensure new components are fit for manufacturing.
