Job summary

Voyant Beauty is seeking a Compounding Supervisor to oversee all aspects of compounding for new and existing products. You will supervise daily operations, manage pre-weighing, material control, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance to keep production on schedule.

You will lead continuous improvements, train staff across shifts, and partner with QA to prevent batching errors. A strong emphasis on safety and accurate documentation features prominently in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred for leadership and technical oversight.
• 1-3 years leadership experience in cosmetic or personal care settings preferred.
• 1-3 years experience in compounding, batching, or mixing in manufacturing.
• Experience in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, or chemicals preferred.
• Hands-on experience with safety protocols for hazardous materials preferred.
• Experience in inventory control and equipment/supply planning preferred.
• Knowledge of GMPs, FDA guidelines, and SOPs in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee compounding operations, pre-weigh, and material management to meet schedules.
• Ensure documentation adheres to GMPs, SOPs, FDA standards, and customer requirements.
• Optimize compounding processes, improve department efficiency and productivity.
• Manage staffing schedules, train team members, and enforce GMP compliance.
• Collaborate with QA to investigate batching errors and implement corrective actions.
• Promote safety, maintain a clean, hazard-free production environment.
• Maintain inventory of equipment, materials, and safety supplies.
• Approve time/attendance and plan tasks; monitor overtime.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives in compounding to enhance productivity and processes.
• Utilize MRO systems and inventory practices across sites.
