Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a detail-oriented Category Specialist to join the Cosmetic Merchandising team in Woonsocket, RI. You will partner with leadership to execute category strategies, manage assortments, promotions, and planograms, and coordinate store-level merchandising initiatives.

The role offers exposure to category strategy, vendor partnerships, and retail analytics, with opportunities to grow into Category Manager roles within a Fortune 500 healthcare and retail organization.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a consumer packaged goods (CPG) setting or retail merchandising.
• Experience in merchandising, buying, category management, or analytical environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing category strategies to drive sales, margins, and market share.
• Support development and maintenance of planograms, product placement, and shelf allocation.
• Coordinate introductions of new products and product transitions across stores.
• Monitor performance and identify opportunities for assortment optimization and gains.
