Job summary

American IV is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver safe perioperative care for cosmetic and reconstructive procedures in an accredited outpatient plastic surgery center in Nevada. The role spans preoperative assessment, OR circulating nurse duties, and PACU care, collaborating with surgeons and anesthesia providers.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Nevada.
• BLS and ACLS certification preferred.
• Experience in perioperative or OR nursing is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Deliver perioperative nursing care across preoperative, intraoperative, and PACU stages.
• Perform preop assessments, verify consents, and educate patients on procedures and recovery.
• Establish IV access and administer medications per orders.
• Support OR team, maintain sterile technique, and manage documentation.
• Monitor and respond to patient status in PACU, including airway and pain control.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, OSHA standards, and patient safety throughout.
