Job summary

42 North Dental in Portland, ME is seeking a licensed Dentist to join a restorative and aesthetic dental practice. You will manage the full patient experience from exam and treatment plan to delivery of care, with in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

We offer a flexible schedule (full-time or part-time), no nights or weekends, strong earning potential based on production, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from CODA-accredited dental school.
• Current state license to practice dentistry in the US.
• Proof of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Malpractice insurance coverage.
• BLS or CPR certification is current.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and educate patients on options.
• Create treatment plans and review options with patients.
• Maintain and update medical and dental records, interpret X-rays.
• Perform restorative and preventive dental care and surgical procedures.
