Job summary

42 North Dental, located in Portland, ME, seeks a dentist to deliver comprehensive care from exam and treatment planning to delivery of restorations and surgeries. The practice includes in-office specialties and a focus on restorative and aesthetic dentistry.

You will join a supportive team in a modern, patient-centered environment with production-based compensation and a flexible full-/part-time schedule. No nights or weekends, strong earning potential, and opportunities to grow clinically.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care and ethics.
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education.

Education
