Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Process Engineer II in Congers, NY to lead scale-up and manufacturing trials for new cosmetic products. You will design experiments, analyze data, and communicate results between R&D and production teams, ensuring smooth scale-up from concept to mass manufacturing.

The role requires a strong background in chemical processing and about 3 years in related industries, with an emphasis on quality, safety, and adherence to cGMP standards in an onsite setting.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of chemical processing concepts including heat transfer, mass flow and instrumental & statistical analysis and how it is applied to personal care products.
• Roughly 3 years in a related industry; preferably cosmetics or other personal care products.

Responsibilities

• Scale-up development, planning and execution of industrial-scale formulations, pilot, filling and assembly trials for cosmetics products.
• Coordinate between R&D and Manufacturing to transition products from conception to production scale.
• Investigate out-of-specification non-conformances and create effective corrective and preventive action plans.
