Job summary

The Estée Lauder Companies Inc. is seeking a laboratory support professional to help maintain cleanliness across laboratories in the Advanced Technology Team and manage inventories in line with ELC standards.

Ideal candidates have 0-2 years of hands-on lab experience and an Associate’s degree in Chemistry or Biology. Strong organization and attention to detail are essential for this role at a leading cosmetics group.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years’ hands-on laboratory experience.
• Cosmetic/fragrance industry experience is a plus.
• Minimum an Associate’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Highly organized and independent thinker.
• Performs function with high attention to detail and excellence in execution.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of the multiple laboratories within the Advanced Technology Team.
• Create and maintain inventory lists to be compliant with ELC standards
• Daily, Weekly, and Monthly lab maintenance of equipment (processing equipment, analytical equipment, measurement equipment)
• Maintain laboratory and office inventory of supplies, including generating of purchase orders for the team
• Following General Laboratory Safety practices outlined by ELC SOP’s/Guidelines.
• Organize, catalog, ship, maintain library of product and fragrance oil standards
• Other duties as assigned
