Diamond Dental in Newtown, CT is seeking a skilled General Dentist (Esthetics focus) to join our busy practice. The ideal candidate should provide high-quality care, maintain excellent bedside manner, and work alongside caring professionals in a modern, fully equipped facility.
We offer advanced technology and mentoring, including 3D printing, same-day milling, Pearl AI, CBCT, laser dentistry, and comprehensive training.
Qualifications
- DDS or DMD from an ADA-accredited dental school is required.
- Board Certified and/or Board Eligible in General Dentistry.
- Current state license.
- Previous experience in clinical or private practice.
- CPR, BLS, and NPI certifications.
- Deep understanding of dental standards and dental medicine trends.
- Excellent bedside manner.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide thorough examinations to determine overall dental health and evaluate patients for signs of gum disease, cavities, and infection.
- Diagnose and treat dental problems including root canals, extractions, and restoration.
- Perform dental care treatments including x-rays, fillings, sealants, and cosmetic dental services.
- Consult with other dental specialists when necessary.
- Provide education to patients on oral hygiene and use of orthodontics and dental appliances.
- Adhere to strict health and safety guidelines.
