Job summary

Malibu Wellness, Inc. is seeking a Cosmetic Chemical Compounder in Indianapolis, IN to create product batches by following established formulas while adhering to cGMP and safety standards. You will transport materials, log entries in Data Ninja, maintain a clean work area, and ensure products meet specifications before release to inventory.

ERP NetSuite and Data Ninja experience is preferred. The role reports to the Executive R&D and Regulatory Manager and requires attention to detail and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• At least 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment.
• Experience with the ERP system NetSuite and the manufacturing execution system Data Ninja is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Covers and puts away chemicals used for the day.
• Transports materials from storage area to production and properly record them in Data Ninja.
• Accountable for cleaning the compounding work area, maintaining equipment cleaning and operating in a clean environment.
• Ensuring that the products manufactured are of the highest standards and meets all the criteria prior to release to inventory so that they are in accordance with company specification and procedures.
• Ensure compliance of GMP’s and company policy and procedures for cosmetic manufacturing.
• Assure batch records are maintained according to company requirements and SOP’s.
• Engage in process development and resolve production problems and errors.
• Maintain an adequate supply of chemical raw materials in work area and notify supervisor or warehouse of any shortages.
• Be able to have a good working knowledge of math, weights and measurements so that recipes are correctly followed.
• Communicate with supervisor on production issues.
• Must be able to work with urgency and effectively drive production to ensure targets are achieved.
• Attend monthly production/quality/R&D and maintenance huddles.
• Participate in annual cycle counts.
• Participate in goal setting and performance evaluation with supervisor.
