North Star Sheets, an affiliate of Schwarz Partners, is seeking a Tower Operator for 2nd shift in Cottage Grove, MN. The role focuses on central communication for the corrugator, process control, order fulfillment, and achieving production goals with cross-department collaboration.

The ideal candidate will have corrugated industry experience, be able to work overtime and various shifts during the first 90 days, and demonstrate strong teamwork, reliability, and basic math and computer skills.

Qualifications

• 2 years of corrugated experience required.
• Ability to work overtime and occasional Saturdays.
• Ability to train on various shifts during first 90 days.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, challenging, and results driven environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively and be a team player.
• Energetic, motivated, and dependable.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and use numbers in operations.
• Computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety and company policies; maintain housekeeping and report issues.
• Edit orders in queue and communicate changes with team.
• Monitor corrugator computer systems for efficiency.
• Ensure quality by monitoring production and testing.
• Complete production and downtime reports after each shift.
• Troubleshoot equipment and report issues promptly.
• Maintain clean work areas and adhere to SOPs.
• Provide on-the-job training as needed.
