International Paper in Oklahoma City, OK seeks a Production (Corrugator) Supervisor to lead on the 3rd shift, with 1st/2nd shift flexibility. You will partner with senior leadership to meet production goals while ensuring safety and coaching team members.

Two years in corrugated manufacturing supervision and solid leadership skills are required to drive continuous improvement and outcomes.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; BA/BS preferred or pursuing degree.
  • Minimum two years’ experience in manufacturing supervision in corrugated industry.
  • Familiar with basic computer applications and learning business systems.
  • Strong leadership to guide others.
  • First-level team leader skills with integrity.
  • Adept at priority setting and timely decision making.
  • Capable of managing and measuring work for continuous improvement.

The Job You Will Perform
  • Interfaces with senior plant leadership to communicate production goals on a continuous basis.
  • Safety training, accident investigation, managing work schedules, counseling and coaching employees to exceed team goals and corrective action to address problems.
  • Responsible for the manufacturing processes and exceeding department goals through strong leadership and direction.
  • Must be willing to work 1 st , 2 nd or 3 rd shift with 3 rd shift being the permanent shift.

  • Minimum two years’ experience in manufacturing supervision with a concentration in corrugated industry.
  • Familiar with basic computer applications and the ability to learn additional business-related systems.
