Georgia-Pacific's Asheboro, NC corrugated plant is seeking a 1st shift Corrugator Supervisor (Mon-Fri 7am-3pm; weekends as needed) to join the team on the Asheboro site. The role emphasizes safety leadership, coaching, and production excellence on the busy corrugated line.

You will drive continuous improvement, supervise hourly staff, and coordinate with other departments to ensure on-time, quality production while maintaining a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in manufacturing, industrial, or military environments.
• Strong leadership on the shop floor and safety accountability.
• Ability to coach and develop operations personnel.

Responsibilities

• Drive safety excellence and identify hazards with mitigation plans.
• Provide floor leadership and ensure safety, health, environmental and quality compliance.
• Coach and develop operations personnel in safety, quality, and production skills.
• Ensure best practices to minimize waste at machine centers.
• Address issues with other departments to ensure on-time quality production.
• Identify needed repairs and create work requests for completion.
• Track continuous improvement opportunities and develop action plans.
• Plan, assign, and direct work for all hourly production employees and provide feedback.

Georgia-Pacific's Asheboro, NC Corrugated plant is now hiring a 1st shift Corrugator Supervisor to join our team! This is an exciting time to join our team on 1st shift (Monday-Friday 7am-3pm with weekends as needed).

What You Will Do

• Driving safety excellence through promoting employee involvement, ownership and accountability to proactively identify hazards and implement the appropriate mitigating strategies; investigate incidents and participate in resolution of causes
• Providing leadership on the operating floor and striving for compliance in safety, health, environmental, and quality
• Coaching, training, and developing operations personnel in safety, quality, production, and technical and interpersonal communication skills
• Ensuring best practices are being followed for minimization of waste at machine centers
• Addressing key issues and concerns and interacting with employees from other departments to ensure quality, on-time production
• Identifying repairs needed at machine centers and creating work requests for completion
• Tracking continuous improvement opportunities where performance issues are apparent and providing leadership/action plans for gap closure
• Planning, assigning, and directing work for all hourly production employees; appraising performance and providing feedback as needed

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Supervisory experience working in a manufacturing, industrial OR military environment

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in manufacturing, business, or engineering
• Experience working with KIWI application
