Job summary
Westaff is hiring Machine Operators in Devens, MA to support corrugated packaging operations. You will operate high-speed converting equipment and learn setup and basic maintenance under supervision. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork and reliability in a fast-paced environment.
The schedule is Monday through Friday, 5am to 1pm, with overtime possible. Weekly pay and benefits like medical, dental, vision, retirement and online training are provided, with lift requirements and no climate
Qualifications
- Safety mindset is required for all tasks.
- Experience with high-speed, high-volume work is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand basic English.
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work overtime and Saturdays when needed.
- Attention to detail and ability to read a tape measure.
Responsibilities
- Operate corrugator and converting machines to produce packaging.
- Perform routine maintenance and adjust machine settings for quality.
- Inspect products for defects and take corrective actions as needed.
- Communicate with team to meet production goals safely and with quality.
- Follow safety procedures and keep the work area clean and organized.
- Assist with loading/unloading materials and mentoring new team members.
