Qualifications

• Lead on-the-floor training for new hires or transfers.
• Coach experienced operators to follow protocols and maintain peak efficiency.
• Act as a subject matter expert for operations.
• Read and comprehend basic mathematics including decimals.
• Read a tape measure to 1/16 inch.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-the-floor training for all new hires or transfers within the department.
• Provide coaching for experienced operators who fail to follow proper protocols.
• Act as SME and answer questions on operations from other employees.
• Coordinate shift handovers and maintain a clean production floor.
• Assist in equipment checks, supplies, and prior shift completion.
• Support corrugator department coverage during breaks and absences.
• Adhere to safety and environmental guidelines and complete required paperwork.
• Assist or operate machinery to meet performance goals and participate in special projects.
