Job summary

Menasha Corporation is seeking a Double Backer Operator for the overnight shift (Sunday-Thursday, 10 PM–6 AM) to manage the double backer section of the corrugator, splice paper, and monitor starch flow. Training pay is $29.22/hr and qualified pay is $31.37/hr.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

The Double Backer Operator is responsible for operating the control panel and monitoring the computer at the double backer section of the corrugator. The person in this position will make the proper splices and check the paper for bonding. They will also maintain clean plates and monitor the starch flow by making sure it does not overflow.

Overnight Shift Sunday-Thursday 10PM-6AM

Pay: Training: $29.22 Qualified $31.37

Job Description

Essential Functions

• Check paper for bonding
• Adjust adhesive rolls and check meter rolls
• Understand and make splices
• Repair or assist maintenance in the repair of machine as necessary
• Ensure quality is a work priority by being attentive to detail and accuracy and by actively seeking work process improvements— quality is the responsibility of all employees
• Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors
