Job summary

Pratt Industries, Inc. is seeking a T-Cart Operator for the 3rd shift (11pm-7am) in Valparaiso, Indiana. Operators handle units from takeoff to transfer carts and assist moving W.I.P.

sheets between storage areas. You will follow the corrugator run sheet, adhere to the production schedule, and communicate deviations promptly. The role requires proactive equipment maintenance and strict safety and housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Ensure and check the corrugator run sheet provided by the Scheduling department.
• Any deviation from the schedule will be called in and changed on the Corr Plan Master Schedule.
• Relay messages to proper personnel promptly regarding necessary adjustments.
• Turn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs. Be proactive in the maintenance of equipment.
• Adhere to the production schedule.
• Count and verify unit and inch counts of units.
• Ensure proper load tags are in each unit.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeeping.
• Additional duties may be assigned by management.
