UFP Industries seeks a Corrugated Operations Sales Manager for our Las Vegas box converting plant. You will lead regional sales strategy, forecast, pricing, and key customer relationships to maximize P&L and growth.

The role requires 5+ years in sales with quota attainment, strong market knowledge of corrugated packaging, and solid business planning with cross-functional teams. Travel and leadership responsibilities are part of the role, with competitive benefits and bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of work experience in sales with quota/m margin attainment.
• Extensive market and industry knowledge in related markets.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Preferred experience in corrugated and protective packaging.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related discipline or equivalent experience.

Job Summary

As a Corrugated Operations Sales Manager, you will play a crucial role in the management of the sales function and development of the sales force in UFP's newest Las Vegas box converting plant. An automated plant with multiple FFGs, die cutters, 4/C, inside/outside print, and high graphics capabilities.

Principle Duties And Responsibilities

Management

• Serves as the strategic sales leader of the region


• Sets and executes business plan for the region


• Establishes Strategic Target Customers for the region


• Aligns resources with company priorities and target customer needs


• Owns partnership with Operations leadership, ensuring maximum P&L optimization


• Maximizes results in region


• Accountable for sales and inventory forecasting


• Owns key customer relationships at top levels in region


• Participates in closing programs at key target accounts


• Executes pricing strategy


• Plans for strategic business development


• Develops business programs with a 3-year outlook


• Follows and understands market trends


• Evaluates information regarding customer purchases, inventories, preferences and market trends, and revises sales strategy as appropriate


• Develops regional sales budgets, quota and margin goals for assigned sales personnel and markets


• Revises and develops sales strategies, tactics, and presentations to ensure maximum results


• Develops new markets and market penetration strategies


• Develops new customers and product uses


• Coordinates sales efforts with production and plant staff


• Resolves or facilitates resolution of customer complaints


• Participates in new product development and/or new product introductions


• Develops and maintains positive relationships with customers


• Responsible for Accounts Receivables – their teams’ performance

Personnel Development

• Staffs the group to maximize ROI


• Develops sales talent and succession plans


• Develops sales talent to progress through the career path


• Trains and mentors' sales personnel in selling techniques


• Travels with sales personnel, critiques efforts and develops plans to increase effectiveness


• Prepares various reports and maintains records as required


• Performs other duties as required

Qualifications

Work Experience, Certifications and Education

• Minimum of 5 plus years of work experience and quota/margin attainment in sales to related markets


• Extensive market and industry knowledge


• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook


• Preferred experience and knowledge of corrugated and protective packaging


• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or related discipline or equivalent experience is preferred.


• Proficiency in the use of the English language in reading, writing, and speaking.

Salary Pay Range

$75,000 - $100,000 annually dependent on experience* *pay range may be adjusted depending on cost of living
Bonus/Incentive Pay: The percentage of incentive compensation that may be earned varies based on collected net sales of the region.
Annual performance bonus opportunity based on Company and specific business unit ROI and PBOP achievement criteria and individual job responsibility and performance.
