Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC in Asheboro, NC is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our corrugated facility. You will operate the production line with minimal supervision, perform basic maintenance, monitor quality, and work safely.

Shifts available with pay $22–$26 per hour plus $2 shift diff on 2nd shift and $1 on 3rd shift. Orientation on 1st shift; shift assignment after orientation. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machines in the corrugated industry.
• Willingness to work any shift, including weekends as needed.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate the production line with minimal supervision while meeting safety, quality, and productivity standards.
• Perform minor mechanical repairs and tune equipment to optimize output.
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies to promote a safe work environment.
• Monitor key metrics and input data into control systems as required.
• Assist in setup, operation, and monitoring of machinery and provide guidance to teammates.
